Story :

Jagan (Saga Reddy) is a discontinued Engineering student who suffers from Schizophrenia (Mental Disorder) comes to Hyderabad from Guntur to become a Director. Girija (Nidhi Nautiyal) comes to Hyderabad and is an aspiring Choreographer. Jagan struggles a lot to get a chance in direction department. Producer Ashok Kumar who likes his script gives a chance as director. Rest of the story is how he will make a film with his mental disorder disease.

 

Analysis :

Saga Reddy worked as Hero, Producer, Story, Dialogues and Director, Managing all these crafts in his first film is very different but still he worked hard and managed well to give his best output. Movie is very slow, if run time is reduced movie will look good. "Director" is a film which discusses real struggles happening in film industry. There is romance, action, sentiment and comedy with shocking climax. Give a try. Don't miss the beginning.

 

Performances :

As a Hero Saga Reddy given his best performance in acting, he may get more offers in future as a actor. Nidhi Nautiyal is good on screen and has given her best. Ashok Kumar as a producer did his bit. Rest of the team come and go.

Technicians:

Saga Reddy worked as Hero, Director and Producer. It is a difficult job for a new comer to take care of these three crafts. As a producer he did justice to every frame, production values are good on screen. As a Hero he has given his best. As a Director he managed well without any confusion. Screenplay is good but could be better. Dialogues are very good, "Oka Magadu Magadine Maatrame Artham Chesukuntadu, Oka Aadadi Oka Aadadanne Maatrame Artham Chesukuntundi Kani Hijralu Iddarini Artham Chesukuntaru" is one of the good dialogues in this movie. Director has concentrated more on struggles of upcoming artists and technicians which deviates you from main story. Songs and Re recording by Harsh Vyas are gripping. Editing by Praveen Pudi could have been better.
